The City of Syracuse Department of Engineering is organizing a public meeting to gather community feedback on the Kirk Park Pedestrian Bridge Project. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, February 11, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Kirk Park Community Center.

The project aims to replace the existing pedestrian bridge over Onondaga Creek, which connects the Creekwalk on the west side with Kirk Park on the east side. The new structure is intended to improve functionality, safety, and connectivity for community members.

During the meeting, a presentation will be given by the city’s engineering consultant. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and provide input on the design of the project. For those unable to attend in person, feedback can also be submitted online at goto.syr.gov/Kirk-Park-Ped-Bridge.

Public input will be accepted until February 28.
