Syracuse University Libraries have announced the resumption of regular hours for the Spring 2025 semester, effective immediately and continuing through May 11. The updated schedule is available online for Bird Library, Carnegie Library, King + King Architecture Library, and the College of Law Library.
Bird Library will be accessible to all Syracuse University and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry affiliates with a valid user ID. It will operate 24 hours from Monday through Thursday, close at 10 p.m. on Friday, open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, and reopen at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
The Special Collections Research Center, located on the sixth floor of Bird Library, will maintain its schedule from Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., with extended hours until 7 p.m. on Wednesdays.
During Spring Break week from March 8 to March 15, library hours will be reduced. However, during final exams from May 2 to May 4, extended hours will be in effect.
Bird Library also serves as a congressionally designated depository for U.S. government documents and is open to the public on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., with weekend access starting at 10 a.m.
