On October 6, 2024, at approximately 1:54 a.m., Syracuse Police Department officers responded to a stabbing report on the 900 block of Ackerman Avenue. Officers found a 21-year-old male with a facial laceration, who was treated and released at the scene. This victim informed the officers that his friend was also stabbed and receiving treatment at Crouse Hospital.
The officers then went to Crouse Hospital's emergency room where they found a 19-year-old male with a stab wound to the neck. Neither victim sustained life-threatening injuries.
