The City of Syracuse Department of Water will repair a water main transmission line in the northbound lanes of West Street near Franklin Square on Sunday, September 8. During the work, West Street between Fayette and Washington Street and Washington Street between Franklin and West Streets will be closed. Households and businesses in the area may experience water service disruptions. Drivers may experience traffic delays while repair work is completed. Sidewalks will remain open, and traffic detours will be in place.
