Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Professor Younes Ra’di, along with doctoral students Morteza Moradi and Pardha Sourya Nayani, have secured the Best Electromagnetics Paper Award at the 19th European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EuCAP). Their paper, "Approaching Fundamental Limits on Bandwidth-To-Thickness Ratio for Electrically Thin Absorbers Through Dispersion Engineering,” stood out amongst over 1,300 submissions.
Professor Ra’di expressed his gratitude, stating, “It is a great honor to receive the Best Electromagnetic Paper Award among more than 1,300 papers submitted from around the world at such a prestigious conference.” He also lauded his students, saying, “Huge congratulations to my brilliant students, Pardha Sourya Nayani and Morteza Moradi, for their exceptional work and dedication that made this achievement possible.”
EuCAP, sponsored by the European Association on Antennas and Propagation, is a significant event in the field, drawing more than 1,700 participants from both academia and industry. The conference took place in Stockholm, Sweden, from March 30 to April 3 and featured over 50 industrial exhibitors.
