Syracuse University is set to honor eight distinguished alumni during the 2025 Syracuse University Alumni Awards Celebration. The event will take place on April 4 at the National Veterans Resource Center in the Daniel and Gayle D’Aniello Building. Community members are invited to attend this complimentary program, with registration opening in February.
The annual celebration acknowledges alumni and students who embody the spirit of being "Forever Orange." Honorees were chosen by the awards committee of the Syracuse University Alumni Association’s Board of Directors. The committee will announce the recipient of the 2025 Outstanding Future Alumni Award soon.
The George Arents Award, Syracuse University's highest alumni accolade, will be given to Paul Greenberg ’65, P’03; Melanie Littlejohn G’97; and Judith “Judy” C. Mower ’66, G’73, G’80, Ph.D.’84 for their excellence in their respective fields.
Chelsea Ransom-Cooper ’15 is set to receive the Generation Orange Award, which honors graduates from the past decade for career achievements and community involvement.
Jack Kreischer ’65 will be recognized with the Melvin A. Eggers Senior Alumni Award for his long-standing loyalty and service to Syracuse University over five decades.
The Military/Veteran Alumni Award will be posthumously awarded to Jamieson R. Ritter ’19, who died in the line of duty as a police officer in Cleveland, Ohio. This award honors his courage and dedication.
Kimberly Wolf Price L’03 will receive the Volunteer of the Year Award for her volunteer efforts on behalf of Syracuse University.
