Campus Catering has implemented a new online ordering system named CaterTrax. This system is designed to enhance the experience for customers of Campus Catering and JMA Wireless Dome suites when placing catering orders.
The new system replaces the previous email ticketing-based approach, allowing all activities and changes related to an order to be tracked within the system. Customers can now view both current and past order details and invoices directly through their accounts, simplifying the process of duplicating past orders. Additionally, CaterTrax aims to streamline the ordering process, reducing miscommunication between customers and the catering team, as well as minimizing order and delivery errors. The system also allows customers to save payment options such as chartstrings or credit cards in their accounts.
To assist users with this transition, Auxiliary Services is offering four one-hour training sessions throughout January. Users are encouraged to attend a session that fits their schedule by following registration prompts via provided links.
Training sessions are scheduled for:
- Thursday, Jan. 9, from 2-3 p.m.
- Friday, Jan. 10, from 10-11 a.m.
- Monday, Jan. 13, from 1-2 p.m.
- Wednesday, Jan. 15, from 9-10 a.m.
For questions regarding training sessions, Tori Budnik can be contacted at vabudnik@syr.edu. Inquiries about the CaterTrax program should be directed to Campus Catering at catering@syr.edu or by calling 315.443.3605.
