Syracuse University is gearing up for its annual Giving ’CUSEday on December 3, encouraging the community to contribute to the university's Annual Fund. The initiative aligns with Giving Tuesday, a global movement initiated in 2012, and was introduced by Syracuse University in 2016.
The day aims to bring together alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends of the university to support various causes. Contributions are directed towards scholarships, research, and enhancing student experiences.
An additional feature this year is the Fall 2024 Student Organization Challenge. Supporters can make donations to one of 18 student organizations. There are extra incentives with challenge funds: "$1,000 bonus for the group with the most unique donors," "$700 for the second-place organization," and "$300 for the third-place finisher."
Participants are encouraged to share their stories using #GivingCUSEday on social media. More information and donation options are available at cc.syr.edu/givingcuseday.
