The College of Law is set to host its Veterans’ Advocacy, Law and Outreach (VALOR) Day on Saturday, November 9, from 9 a.m. to noon. The event will take place at the Center of Progress Building at the New York State Fairgrounds.

During VALOR Day, local attorneys will offer free legal advice to veterans. This initiative is part of the CNY Veterans Expo and aims to provide various legal services to veterans in the area.

The event is organized by the Betty and Michael D. Wohl Veterans Legal Clinic, Volunteer Lawyers Project of CNY, Inc., and Hancock Estabrook LLP. "Local attorneys will be available to discuss the following services: Simple wills, powers of attorney, advance medical directives, family law, veterans law, tenant’s rights, debt, real estate and immigration."

Legal consultations require an appointment. Interested individuals are encouraged to complete a form before November 7 to schedule their session.
