Parents, families, and supporters of students gathered on campus over the weekend to celebrate the University’s annual Family Weekend. Organized by Parent and Family Services, this event allows those who support students to experience campus life, connect with their students, and explore various academic and extracurricular opportunities. This year saw an impressive turnout with over 5,700 people in attendance.

"So happy to be reunited for Family Weekend," read a caption on Syracuse University’s Instagram.

Taking photos with Otto the Orange remains a time-honored tradition. "Students and their families tour the Barner-McDuffie House," stated another post from Syracuse University’s Facebook page.

A festive Celebration of Identity took place at the Barner-McDuffie House as well. The Schine Student Center was noted as a great place to stop and catch up during Family Weekend festivities. Falk College also hosted students and their families as part of the weekend's events.

For those interested in exercise, there was even a fun run included in the schedule. The Promenade was highlighted as always being a perfect spot for photos.

There was plenty of fun on Shaw Quad before the football game. "Hugs all around for Family Weekend 2024," noted another post from Syracuse University's Facebook page.

Coach Fran Brown’s Quad Walk featured his son walking alongside him. Football activities were also enjoyed on the Quad. Smiles abounded during the sold-out Syracuse Orange vs. Holy Cross football game.

Families took time to catch up while being reunited on campus for this enjoyable weekend. Even some four-legged friends made it to campus for visits, showing off their Orange pride along with everyone else.

There were numerous great spots on campus to snap that perfect family selfie.
