61 percent of applicants to SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry were admitted for fall 2018

At SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, 93 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 53 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Syracuse enrolled 2,220 students in fall 2018, including 1,825 in undergraduate and 395 in graduate programs, data shows. 11.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

78 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 21 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (78 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (6 percent).

The school admitted 61 percent of the 2,018 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 31 percent enrolled.
