The Syracuse University community is set to gather for the 2025 Alumni Awards Celebration on Friday, April 4, 2025. This event will honor alumni who have made significant contributions through their achievements, leadership, and service.
The ceremony will take place at the National Veterans Resource Center, Daniel and Gayle D’Aniello Building, beginning at 5 p.m., with doors opening at 4:30 p.m. A reception will follow until 8 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to sign up in advance due to limited space.
Awardees are selected by the Syracuse University Alumni Association Board of Directors. The George Arents Award, the university's highest alumni honor, will be presented to Paul Greenberg ’65, P’03; Melanie Littlejohn G’97; and Judith “Judy” C. Mower ’66, G’73, G’80, Ph.D.’84 for their excellence in their respective fields.
Chelsea Ransom-Cooper ’15 is set to receive the Generation Orange Award for her career success and community engagement within a decade of graduating. Jack Kreischer ’65 will be honored with the Melvin A. Eggers Senior Alumni Award for his long-standing loyalty and service to Syracuse University over five decades.
The Military/Veteran Alumni Award will be posthumously awarded to Jamieson R. Ritter ’19, recognizing his bravery as a police officer in Cleveland, Ohio. Kimberly Wolf Price L’03 will receive the Volunteer of the Year Award for her dedication as a volunteer.
This celebration is open to students seeking inspiration, faculty and staff members eager to celebrate alumni accomplishments, and alumni themselves. The event promises an evening of storytelling and connections filled with Orange spirit.
Attendance is complimentary but requires prior registration due to limited availability.
