The Student Employment ('Cuse Works) team is calling on the campus community to recognize the efforts of student employees in light of National Student Employment Week, which will be observed from April 8 to April 12. The university acknowledges nearly 6,500 student employees who benefit from financial assistance and gain professional skills through their roles.
Nominations are now open for the 2024-25 Student Employment Recognition Awards. The community can submit nominations until Friday, April 4. More information is available on the National Student Employment Week webpage.
The "Student Employee of the Year" award seeks nominees among undergraduate and graduate students who have shown exceptional work ethic, initiative, and professionalism. To nominate a student employee, individuals must complete the designated nomination form.
Additionally, faculty or staff members supervising student employees can be nominated for the "Student Employee Supervisor of the Year" award. Nominations require an email to the 'Cuse Works team with details including the supervisor's name, email address, department, and reasons for consideration.
For further inquiries or more information about these awards, interested parties are encouraged to contact the 'Cuse Works team.
