Kelly West, a surgical coordinator and certified surgical technologist at Witting Surgical Center, has been named the recipient of the 16th annual Umeshchandra Patil Family Educational Award. This award is presented by the Crouse Health Foundation.
The Patil Award, funded by the Patil Family, offers up to $3,500 annually to a nurse or technician pursuing continuing education and professional development in surgical services. Kelly West plans to use this opportunity to attend the National Association of Surgical Technology conference in Orlando, Florida. Upon returning, Kelly is expected to share insights gained from the conference with colleagues in their department.
The foundation expressed gratitude towards the Patil Family for their generous support and investment in Crouse organization.
