Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh has announced the release of the 2025 City Services Guide, which will start reaching residents' mailboxes on Monday, December 30. This guide, produced by the Department of Public Works (DPW), serves as a year-round reference for essential guidelines and dates related to DPW services. It also provides contact information for various city departments.

Mayor Walsh stated, “The City Services guide provides residents with valuable information to better understand the services available through City departments. It strengthens community ties and ensures that those living in the city can easily access essential resources.”

The guide details services offered by the city and outlines resident responsibilities concerning trash and recycling disposal, sidewalk maintenance, and sewer services. It includes a map of city quadrants for DPW pickups and a complete schedule for biweekly recycling, yard waste, and leaf pickups in 2025.

Cityline, Syracuse's service request tool, allows residents to connect with customer service representatives who can address questions or direct requests to appropriate departments. Through its mobile app or web portal, residents can submit service requests, track their progress, provide feedback, and view requests from neighbors. The guide encourages frequent use of Cityline’s phone number 315-448-CITY (2489) and social media handle (@syrcityline) for regular updates on non-emergency services.

For immediate assistance, a directory of phone numbers is available at the front of the guide. Additionally, the 2025 City Services Guide is accessible for download online.
