On Saturday, September 28, 2024, at approximately 9:05 p.m., Syracuse Police Officers were dispatched to St. Joseph’s Hospital following the arrival of a stabbing victim. Upon their arrival, they found a 16-year-old male receiving treatment for a stab wound in his left shoulder blade area.
The young man was subsequently transferred to Upstate Hospital Emergency Room by American Medical Response for further medical care. The injuries he sustained were assessed as non-life-threatening, and he is expected to recover.
The incident reportedly took place in the parking lot of Macy's at Destiny USA. Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding this case to reach out to the Syracuse Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at (315) 442-5222.
