Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh announced a road reconstruction project on Spencer Street beginning Friday, June 14. Crews will mill and pave from North Clinton Street to Van Rensselaer Street. The road will be closed during construction from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., with traffic detours in place.

Drivers may experience delays and are advised to use alternate routes if possible. The project is expected to be completed in about one week; the actual project timeframe is contingent on favorable weather.
