Three international students, Adya Parida, Yajie (Lannie) Lan, and Angelica Molina, have shared their journeys to Syracuse University, highlighting their academic success and the welcoming community they found on campus. In a recent episode of the "’Cuse Conversations" podcast, these students discussed their experiences and offered advice to fellow international students.

Adya Parida shared her story of traveling from Ranchi, India, to pursue a degree in computer science at the College of Engineering and Computer Science, covering a distance of nearly 7,700 miles. Yajie (Lannie) Lan embarked on a journey of over 7,300 miles from Chengdu, China, to study architecture at the School of Architecture. Angelica Molina made a significant move from Cali, Colombia, spanning more than 2,700 miles to pursue master’s degrees in public administration and international relations at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.

The trio discussed their academic pursuits, the supportive community at Syracuse University, and their aspirations to make a difference in their communities post-graduation.
