The City of Syracuse Department of Water has announced a public information meeting regarding the Brookford Pump Station project. The project aims to replace water mains and water services for some homes in the Meadowbrook neighborhood. The meeting is scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 4 at Nottingham High School from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.

According to the City of Syracuse Department of Water, the project area encompasses approximately 750 homes in the Meadowbrook area. Additionally, they stated, "Water service lines containing lead components will be replaced at no cost to the property owner."

This initiative is part of the Water Department's long-term infrastructure plan, which focuses on the replacement of pump stations and surrounding infrastructure, including water service lines containing lead, in various neighborhoods around the City. The primary goal of these efforts is to safeguard water quality and maintain adequate water pressure for customer use and fire protection."
