The St. Patrick’s Parade in 2025 is scheduled for Saturday, March 15. Several street closures and parking directions have been announced to facilitate the event.
On Friday, March 14, South Salina Street will be closed between Washington Street and Erie Boulevard West from approximately 9 to 10 a.m. This closure is for the Ceremonial Painting of the St. Patrick’s Parade Green Stripe, which will take place at 9:30 a.m.
On parade day, Saturday, March 15, certain streets will be closed for the duration of the parade and will reopen once it concludes. The exact times for these closures are approximate.
For those traveling to Downtown on parade day, specific routes have been suggested:
- From the West: Use Route 690 East to reach West Fayette Street via the West Street Arterial. Continue to Franklin Street and Armory Square for parking near Clinton Square.
- From the East: Travel on Route 690 West to Townsend Street for access to James Street and nearby areas such as Clinton Square and Hanover Square. For City Hall and State Office Building access, proceed from Townsend onto Washington Street.
- From the South: Take Route 81 North exiting at Almond Street. To reach Columbus Circle or other landmarks like Everson Museum of Art or Civic Center, turn onto Harrison Street.
- From the North: Access Clinton and Hanover Squares by taking Route 81 South to Spencer/Catawba exit then follow Catawba Street to State Street. For locations like Everson Museum or Civic Center, use Harrison Street exit.
