Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay and the Assembly Minority Conference welcomed six new members during a public swearing-in ceremony in Albany. The event, attended by family, friends, elected officials, and dignitaries, marked the official induction of these legislators into their roles.

Leader Barclay expressed enthusiasm about the addition of new members to the Assembly Minority Conference. "It is an exciting time to return to Albany as we welcome our newest members to the Assembly Minority Conference. Each individual has a proven track record of hard work, professionalism and a deep love and respect for this great state," he said. He emphasized the importance of addressing pressing issues and building a better future for New York.

The swearing-in was conducted by Honorable Ray Walter from the State Supreme Court 8th Judicial District, who previously served in the Assembly from 2011-2019.

Among those sworn in was Assemblyman Bologna, representing the 144th Assembly District. He acknowledged his responsibility to serve his constituents amid economic challenges. "Serving the people of the 144th Assembly District is a responsibility that I take seriously, and it is an honor to be their voice in Albany," he stated.

Assemblyman Chludzinski also shared his commitment to serving families in the 143rd District. "I am deeply honored to be representing the hardworking families of the 143rd District," he noted.

Assemblyman Molitor highlighted his dedication to addressing public safety and affordability concerns for constituents in Assembly District 150. "My constituents elected me to represent them in Albany, and I am committed to serving them," he affirmed.

Assemblyman Norber expressed gratitude for joining the conference and aimed to bring unique perspectives as a first-generation American while serving District 16. "I look forward to working with all my colleagues," he remarked.

Finally, Assemblyman Sempolinski from District 148 spoke on prioritizing common-sense policies that benefit taxpayers without excessive spending. "We must be ready to return to common-sense policies that will enrich New York taxpayers," he declared.

The ceremony underscored each member's commitment to tackling issues such as economic security, public safety, education affordability, and constitutional rights for New Yorkers.
