Rebecca G. Johnston joins Syracuse University Libraries as social sciences librarian

Rebecca G. Johnston has taken on a new role at Syracuse University Libraries as the social sciences and humanities librarian in the Department of Research and Scholarship. Her responsibilities include serving as a subject librarian for various disciplines such as African American studies, history, language and literature (excluding French), Latin American studies, LGBT studies, Native American studies, philosophy, religion, and women’s and gender studies.

Johnston previously worked as a reference librarian at Wells College. She holds a bachelor's degree in English and history from the College of Wooster and master's degrees in library and information science and history from Simmons University.
