The Crouse Health Board of Directors has announced the appointment of Tim Kennedy as the new Chair, effective January 1, 2025. Kennedy will take over from Patrick A. Mannion, who has served as Chair since 2012 and will remain on the Board.

Crouse Health CEO Seth Kronenberg expressed gratitude for Mannion's leadership: “We are grateful to Patrick for his many years of dedicated leadership, service and support to the Crouse family and look forward to his continuing contributions to our organization as a valued member of the Board.”

Mannion reflected on his tenure: “Being part of one of the most impactful boards in Central New York has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my professional career.” He praised Crouse’s management team and expressed confidence in Kennedy's future leadership.

Kennedy is currently President of Advance Media New York and serves as Regional President for Advance Local’s media operations in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. He joined the Crouse Board in 2015 and is presently Vice Chair. On his new role, he stated: “It is an honor to be appointed Board Chair. For generations Crouse has cared for families across Central New York and stayed true to its mission."

Mannion commended Kennedy’s contributions over nearly a decade on the board: “Over his nearly 10 years as a member of the board, we have come to rely on Tim’s steady leadership, thoughtful insight and unwavering support of the Crouse mission."

Crouse Health is noted as Central New York's only locally governed community hospital system, with a significant presence in the region through its numerous facilities, physicians, and employees. The organization was recognized as 'Business of the Year' in 2024 by CenterStateCEO.
