Congressman Brandon Williams of New York's 22nd district has commented on the recent interception of a ballistic missile over Tel Aviv by Israel's defense system, David’s Sling. The missile, launched by Hezbollah, was intercepted without causing any casualties.
“David’s Sling has intercepted a ballistic missile over Tel-Aviv, saving countless lives. This escalation is unprecedented, even for Hezbollah’s terrorists," Williams stated. "The range and precision of missiles such as these give them the potential to cause great destruction. I am relieved to see that this failed attack resulted in no casualties. We must continue to reaffirm our commitment to our strongest ally in the Middle East—I stand with Israel.”
Williams emphasized the need for continued support and solidarity with Israel amidst ongoing threats from Hezbollah.
