Congressman Brandon Williams (NY-22) announced that the House Committee on Appropriations has approved $24,790,310 which he requested for community projects in the 22nd Congressional District of New York.

Rep. Williams requested these funds from the House Appropriations Committee, working with local stakeholders to determine what needs throughout the district could be met with congressional funding. Now, these allocations will be included in appropriations bills as they move through the House of Representatives.

“The funding we’ve fought for includes provisions for broadband access, water infrastructure, healthcare access, law enforcement equipment, and more,” said Congressman Williams. “I’m glad that the Appropriations Committee has moved this funding one step closer to the finish line. My office will keep putting Central New York first, every single day.”
