Syracuse women’s volleyball team opens registration for summer camps

Syracuse University’s women’s volleyball team, led by head coach Bakeer Ganesharatnam, has announced the opening of registration for their 2024 summer camps. This marks the second consecutive year the camps will be held. The sessions are scheduled to take place in June on campus at the Women’s Building, Gym A.

The camps offer several options:

**Individual Skills Camp**

This session focuses on improving techniques such as service, reception, setting, defensive techniques, and attacking. It is open to participants aged 9-18 and costs $120 per attendee.

Date: Thursday, June 6

Time: 6-8 p.m.

**Elite Navy and Orange Camp**

Designed for experienced players aiming to enhance their volleyball fundamentals, these sessions are available for rising ninth through twelfth graders. Attending one day costs $215, while attending both days costs $387.

**Elite Navy Camp**

Date: Friday, June 7

Time: 3-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.

**Elite Orange Camp**

Date: Saturday, June 8

Time: 10 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m.

**Team Camp**

Open to teams aged 12 and above, this camp aims to prepare participants for upcoming competitions through skills training and competitive play. The sessions will be held in Gyms A and B of the Women’s Building at a cost of $550 per team.

Date: Sunday, June 9

Time: 10 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m.

University employees with children interested in attending can receive a discount by emailing suvolleyball@syr.edu from their university email address. The discount code provided can be used during online registration.
