Wildcats Compete In Final Conference Championship

The Cazenovia College women's swimming and diving team competed in the NAC Swim Championship this past weekend.  

Cazenovia College hosted 5 conference schools for the two day event – SUNY Delhi – Maine Maritime Academy, Gordon College and Cazenovia College.  The Wildcats finished 4th overall with 191 points.

Key Performances

  • Freshman Kelsey Barrows picked up the Wildcats lone win as she placed first in the 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of 59.84.  Barrows would also finish third in the 200 yard freestyle and fifth in the 500 yard Freestyle.
  • Senior Nicole Menz finished fourth in the 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 1:27.85 and fourth in the 200 Yard Butterfly with a time of 3:29.09.
  • In their final race Sophomore Madeline Sauro, senior Emily Rees, Menz, and Barrows finished fourth in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 4:36.89.
