Wildcats Fall Short in Exciting Game Against NAC Opponent

The Cazenovia College men's basketball team dropped a heart breaker to SUNY Cobleskill as the Fighting Tigers were able to pull out the 63-62 win. 

The Wildcats would take the lead as Senior Nate Klein would hit a lay up to put Cazenovia up 62-60 with 17 seconds remaining. 

The home team Fighting Tigers would get one last shot from deep to put Cobleskill ahead 63-63 with 8 second remaining.  

Cazenovia held an advantage on the boards as the Wildcats would out rebound the Fighting Tigers 41-37.

Key Performance

  • Junior Christian Sage led the Wildcats in scoring as he finished 5-10 from the field and 6-6 from the free throw line for 17 points.  Sage also led the Wildcats in with 6 assists.
  • Senior Alan Willmes Jr. led the Wildcats in rebounding as he would finish with 9 rebounds to go along with is 13 points scored. 
  • Junior Kobe Bogart finished with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists.
  • Senior Nate Klein also scored in double figures for the Wildcats as he finished with 10 points.  Klein also finished with 4 assists, 2 steals, and 5 rebounds.
