The season of giving doesn't mean you should stop giving attention to yourself, and put self-care on the backburner.  

As wonderful as the holiday season can be, it can also be an extremely difficult and anxiety filling time for many, for a variety of reasons. Taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of your physical health, so make sure you are giving yourself the time and attention you need to feel at your best.

It doesn’t take much to give yourself a mental break. So here are a few suggestions to try out today to give yourself some peace of mind this holiday season:1. Drink some water

2. Light a Candle

3. Digital Detox

4. Make a gratitude list

5. Breathe deeply
