Census Bureau: More women than men in Syracuse in 2020

Of the 142,553 people living in Syracuse in 2020, 52.3 percent (74,522) were women and 47.7 percent (68,031) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Syracuse Sun.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 3,786. In the 65 and over age range, there were 10,824 females and 7,604 males.
