 Groundskeepers

• Application Deadline: 4/29/2022

• Seasonal employment (April-September)

• Work duties shall include litter clean-up, lawn mowing, weed eating and other duties as required.

 Heavy Equipment Operators (Solid Waste)

• Application Deadline: 4/29/22

• Duties include manual work involving the responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of a variety of heavy automotive equipment.

 Staff Social Workers (2 positions open) 

• Application Deadline: 5/3/22

• Responsible for providing social work services to clients of the outpatient mental health clinic.

• Perform individual, group and family counseling to clients with a wide range of behavioral and emotional difficulties.  

•  Complete associate case paperwork including but not limited to: intake assessment, treatment plans, reviews, and discharge summaries.

 Aide/Groundskeepers - temporary full-time, seasonal (April-September) (Solid Waste)

• Application Deadline: 4/29/22

 Aide/Groundskeeper for a permanent, part-time (Solid Waste)

• Application Deadline: 4/29/22

• Involves responsibility for checking vehicles entering the County Landfill or transfer stations for a valid permit, directing them to designated dumping or recycling areas, monitoring the work area to keep it as orderly as possible as well as performing routine manual work in grounds maintenance activities.  

• Collects coupons from individuals authorized to dispose of solid waste. 

 Principal Account Clerk (Department of Solid Waste)

• Application Deadline: 4/29/22

• Responsible for planning and overseeing complex account keeping activities and independently performing the most important phases of such work.

• The work is carried out in accordance with outlined policies and procedures, with leeway allowed for the exercise of independent judgment.

 Community Services Aide (Sheriff’s Office)

• Application Deadline: 4/25/22

• Support the County Sheriff in performing routine duties that do not require arrest powers.

• Incumbents in this class are briefed in laws, procedures and techniques, to the extent required to perform limited support functions in areas including but not limited to public relations assignments at schools, special events, and other community-oriented activities.

 Summer Youth Counselor

• Application Deadline: 04/25/22

Positions involve supervising children working on any Summer Youth worksite and speaking to Parents

and Supervisors as needed. 

• Candidates would communicate with children's parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviors, and related issues.

 Real Property Information Specialist

• Application Deadline: 4/20/2022

• Coordinating the effective implementation and maintenance of the Real Property System

 Deputy County Treasurer

• Application Deadline: 4/20/2022

• Responsible for the collection and enforcement of real property taxes and related accounting duties.
