Syracuse University has announced the schedule for its women’s lacrosse team as Regy Thorpe begins his first year as head coach. The 2026 season will feature a challenging lineup, with Syracuse set to play 10 teams that reached the NCAA Tournament in 2025. This includes five quarterfinalists and three teams from last year’s Final Four.

The Orange will play eight home games at the JMA Wireless Dome, starting with matchups against Maryland and North Carolina. Tickets are available through Cuse.com/Lacrosse-Tickets. Syracuse continues its streak of NCAA Tournament appearances, having qualified for 13 consecutive years, and enters the new season ranked in the top-10 of preseason Look Ahead rankings.

The season opens on Friday, February 6, when Syracuse hosts Maryland. Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) play begins one week later with a game against defending national champion North Carolina on Friday, February 13.

Syracuse’s first away game is scheduled for Friday, September 20 at Stanford. Last season’s conference meeting between these teams went into double overtime.

Loyola will visit Syracuse on Tuesday, February 24, concluding a four-game stretch against NCAA Tournament teams to start the season.

The Orange then travel to Louisville on Saturday, February 28 before returning home to face Cal on Tuesday, March 3. Virginia Tech comes to the Dome on Friday, March 6, capping three games in seven days.

On Thursday, March 12, Syracuse visits last year’s national runner-up Northwestern. The team returns home five days later to host Yale on Tuesday, March 17—a rematch of their NCAA second-round matchup from last year.

Four of the next five games are on the road: at Virginia (Saturday, March 21), UAlbany (Tuesday, March 24), followed by a home game against Pittsburgh (Saturday, March 28). The stretch ends with trips to Cornell (Tuesday, March 31) and Duke (Saturday, April 4).

Senior Day and the final home game will be held Saturday, April 11 against Notre Dame. The regular season concludes at Boston College on Thursday, April 16.

“Secure your tickets today for what’s sure to be a thrilling season in the Dome.”
