Syracuse University announces new members for 2025-26 faculty salary advisory committee

The Provost’s Faculty Salary Advisory Committee (PFSAC) for the 2025-26 academic year has been announced by Jamie Winders, vice provost for faculty affairs at Syracuse University. The committee was created to advise the provost on appeals related to full-time faculty salaries.

Committee members for this term include Susan Albring from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management; Kivanc Avrenli, also from Whitman; Robert Bifulco of the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs; PJ DiPietro from the College of Arts and Sciences; Bradley Ethington from the College of Visual and Performing Arts; Natarajan Gautam and Chris Johnson from the College of Engineering and Computer Science (ECS); Jonna Gilfus from Arts and Sciences; Soo Yeon Hong from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications; Melissa Luke from the School of Education; Sinéad Mac Namara representing both ECS and the School of Architecture; Suzette Meléndez from the College of Law; Christopher Scholz from Arts and Sciences; Theresa Singleton from Maxwell; Radhakrishna (Suresh) Sureshkumar, Distinguished Professor in ECS; and Judy Teng from the College of Professional Studies.

According to university officials, “Members are jointly selected by Winders and the chair of the University Senate from a pool of nominees brought forward by deans and the senate agenda committee.”
