Syracuse track and field opens season at Cornell Greg Page Relays

The Syracuse University track and field team will begin its 2025-26 season on Saturday at the Cornell Greg Page Relays, held at Barton Hall in Ithaca, New York.

According to event details, the competition starts with the 60-meter hurdles at 11 a.m. Tawakal Omar and Jamir Brown are set to make their first appearances for the men’s team. Shortly after, Billie Frazier, Emeline Clark, Ivana Richards, Peyton Rollins, and Marissa Saunders will compete in the women’s 60-meter hurdles.

At 11:35 a.m., several male athletes from Syracuse will participate in the 60-meter dash. The women’s race follows at 11:50 a.m., featuring Bianca Williams, Indie Wallace-Persaud, Jada Williams, and Esther Granda.

Samantha Bloch, Kayla Harding, Lizzie Bigelow, Blake Parker, and Hailey Schuemann are scheduled to run the mile at 12:10 p.m. Finals for both the 60-meter hurdles and dash events will begin at 12:40 p.m.

Later in the day, Grace Finnegan and Luise Hiltzbleck will compete in the women’s 3,000-meter run at 1:55 p.m. Elijah Mallard is entered in the men’s 300-meters event. The meet concludes with Nylah Robinson, Leah Bellow, Mia Hernandez, and Andrea Pomales running at 3:20 p.m.
