The City of Syracuse Department of Parks & Recreation has announced the opening of registration for Session I swim lessons. Sign-ups will begin on Thursday, June 26 at 4:00 p.m. for city residents and on Friday, June 27 at 4:00 p.m. for non-city residents. The summer program will consist of three sessions, with the first session held at Burnet, Onondaga, and Thornden Pools from June 30 to July 11. Lessons are scheduled in 30-minute intervals between 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Session II registration will open on Thursday, July 10 at 4:00 p.m. for city residents and Friday, July 11 at 4:00 p.m. for non-city residents. This session is set to run from July 14 to July 25.

For Session III, registration begins on Thursday, July 24 at 4:00 p.m. for city residents and Friday, July 25 at the same time for non-city residents. The final session will occur from July 28 to August 8.

In addition to Burnet, Onondaga, and Thornden Pools, Schiller Pool will be available for Sessions II and III. Each session offers five levels based on age—ranging from ages three to eight—and swimming ability requirements.
