Ryan Beaury has been appointed as the men’s basketball director of operations at Syracuse, according to an announcement on Apr. 16.
The appointment brings Beaury back to Syracuse after he spent two years in a similar role at Siena. His new responsibilities will include managing the operation of the men’s basketball office, assisting with team travel coordination, serving as a liaison with department support services, and organizing recruiting visits.
Beaury is a graduate of Syracuse University, earning his bachelor’s degree in sport management in 2021 and his master’s degree in instructional design, development and evaluation in 2023. During his time as a student, he served four years as a basketball student manager—including two seasons as head student manager—before being named a graduate assistant for two years. In those roles, he assisted with analytical studies, film work, scouting reports for opponents, and producing recruiting-related videos.
Before returning to Syracuse for this position, Beaury was promoted to video coordinator prior to the 2023-24 season at Siena. There he oversaw all video operations and contributed to on-court coaching during practices and individual workouts.
Beaury’s family also has strong ties to college basketball. He is married to Callie Beaury. His father, Brian Beaury, worked for the past two years as special assistant to Gerry McNamara at Siena following a long coaching career at Division II College of St. Rose.
