Syracuse University’s men’s rowing team has released its schedule for the 2026 spring season. The team will open competition at the Princeton Invite on April 11 in Princeton, New Jersey, where they will face several leading programs including California, Stanford, Princeton, Yale, and Brown.
The Orange will continue their season with the annual Goes Trophy race against Cornell and Navy in Ithaca, New York on April 18. Syracuse is aiming to secure the trophy for a sixth consecutive year.
On April 25 and 26, Syracuse will compete at the Lake Morey Invite in Fairlee, Vermont. This event includes races against Dartmouth, Boston University, and Georgetown. During this meet, Syracuse will vie for both the Packard Cup against Dartmouth and the Conlan Cup against Boston University. The team seeks to reclaim the Packard Cup after losing it last season and to retain the Conlan Cup for a fourth straight year.
The EARC Eastern Sprints are scheduled for May 17 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Syracuse aims to have all four boats reach the Grand Final and earn a medal; their last podium finish was a bronze in the varsity eight in 2023.
The Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Championship Regatta will be held from May 28-31 in Sacramento, California. This marks the first time since 2020 that the national championship returns to the west coast. Syracuse hopes to build on its performance from 2025 when every boat advanced to the Grand Finals and the team finished sixth overall—the best result in program history.
