Syracuse University Libraries' Fall 2024 regular hours will commence on Saturday, Aug. 24, and continue through Tuesday, Dec. 17. The detailed schedule is available online.

Bird Library's lower level to the second floor will operate from Monday through Thursday for 24 hours, close at 10 p.m. on Fridays, open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays, and reopen at 10 a.m. on Sundays.

Floors three to five will be open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to midnight, Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to midnight.

The sixth floor, including the Special Collections Research Center, will be accessible Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours until 7 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Carnegie Library's schedule is as follows: Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m.

King + King Architecture Library will be open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to11p .m.

The College of Law Library's hours are Monday through Thursday from8a .m.to7p .m .,Fridayfrom8a .m.to5p .m .,and closed on weekends .

The Libraries will also participate in several Welcome Week activities as students return:

A Family Lounge outside Bird Library (Einhorn Walk side) and Carnegie Library (Shaw Quadrangle entrance) will be available on Wednesday, Aug.21,andThursday ,Aug22 ,from12to4p .meachday ."Students,theirfamiliesandsupportersareinvitedtotakeabreakfrommovingintotheresidencehallstolearnabouttheLibraries.Snacksandbeverageswillbeprovided ,aswellasLibrariesinformation.Librarytourswillbeavailablebyrequest."
