Benjamin Liba, MD, has joined the St. Joseph’s Physicians ENT practice in Fayetteville, New York. Dr. Liba becomes part of a team of board-certified ear, nose and throat physicians and licensed audiologists at St. Joseph’s Health who provide diagnosis, treatment, and management for a variety of medical conditions.
Dr. Liba earned his Bachelor of Science in Cellular Biology and Molecular Genetics from the University of Maryland, College Park. He completed a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences at George Mason University in Manassas, Virginia, and Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., graduating near the top of his class. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington before finishing an Otolaryngology Residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, where he was awarded the Resident Research Award.
Prior to joining St. Joseph’s Health, Dr. Liba worked as a comprehensive otolaryngologist in private practice near Philadelphia.
“I am excited to add to the amazing Otolaryngology team present here at St. Joseph’s Health,” said Dr. Liba. “We can touch so many facets of people’s lives in this specialty, and I am honored to have the opportunity to do so for the great people of this community,” said Dr. Liba.
Dr. Liba is affiliated with several professional organizations including the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, Pennsylvania Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, and the American Medical Association. His research has appeared in various journals and newsletters.
