Four leaders from Upstate University Hospital will serve as panelists at the Becker’s Healthcare Annual Meeting in Chicago, scheduled for April 13 to 16. The event is expected to bring together more than 4,500 health care professionals, marking its largest attendance to date.

Chief Executive Officer Robert Corona, Chief Nursing Officer Scott Jessie, Associate Chief Medical Officer Chris Tanski, and Chief Medical Officer Amy Tucker are set to participate in panels during the four-day conference.

Corona said, “Being invited to contribute to these conversations reflects the meaningful work happening across Upstate University Hospital. Our team is addressing the same challenges facing health systems nationwide, and it’s valuable to share perspectives while also learning from peers. I’m especially proud to see our leaders recognized for the insight and leadership they bring to these important discussions.”

Jessie will join a panel on April 13 titled “Fostering Growth: Addressing key changes at leading academic medical centers,” where executives will discuss operational challenges and innovation strategies at top academic institutions. On the same day, Tanski will participate in a session called “The Patient Surge: How Health Systems Are Rising to the Challenge,” focusing on how hospitals manage increasing patient volumes and adapt operations.

Tucker is scheduled for an April 14 presentation on “Bold Moves in Clinical Leadership: Elevating Quality and Impact,” which highlights clinical innovation and collaboration among hospital leaders. Corona will round out Upstate’s participation with a presentation on April 15 about growth strategies for academic medical centers through research excellence and clinical innovation.

The inclusion of multiple hospital executives as panelists reflects both recognition of their expertise and an opportunity for them to engage with national peers about current trends impacting health systems.
