Corri Zoli has been appointed as a research associate at the Lender Center for Social Justice. Zoli, known for her work with the Forensic and National Security Sciences Institute and involvement with the Intelligence Community Center for Academic Excellence, joins the center in a capacity that aims to integrate various perspectives into future agendas.
Kendall Phillips, director of the Lender Center, expressed confidence in Zoli’s capabilities. “Corri is an amazing thinker and has a great strategic mind. She has the ability to integrate various perspectives into a coherent agenda for the future. The Lender Center is fortunate to have her joining our team,” Phillips said.
In her new role, Zoli will collaborate with Kira Reed, an associate professor of management at the Martin J. Whitman School of Management, who became the senior research associate at the Lender Center in Fall 2022. Together, they will focus on advancing current research projects and exploring new opportunities centered on social justice.
Zoli, who is also affiliated with the D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families, concentrates her research and teaching on issues related to U.S. military veterans and both national and international security. Her work particularly emphasizes law and policy challenges and considers the impact of new technologies in warfare alongside cross-cultural dynamics in conflict scenarios.
Expressing her enthusiasm for the appointment, Zoli stated, “I’m thrilled to be appointed as a research associate at the Lender Center and to be working with Kendall, Kira and our many dedicated colleagues who have made the Lender Center’s mission of interdisciplinary, community-engaged research a priority.”
