On Saturday, April 12, former Cicero-North Syracuse High School standout Casey Gunnip’s current college team, the Saint Michael’s Purple Knights, won 9-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Adelphi Panthers.

The game took place at Doc Jacobs Baseball Field. This was their second matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Purple Knights’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 12 p.m. at Doc Jacobs Baseball Field against Pace Setter.
